Covid- 19

Dear Patients

Life has been anything but normal this spring and we sincerely hope you and your family are in good health. We are happy to inform you that we are now able to once again provide dental care for you and your family. The RCDSO, Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, our governing body has now lifted the restrictions placed back in March 2020. While many things have changed since then, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your health and safety.

Our office will begin to reopen and see patients on June 9, 2020. We ask that you continue to be patient while we complete this reopening phase. Our administrative staff will be contacting you to schedule any previous appointments that were cancelled during the closure.
Our office has always followed strict infection control standards and in order to keep us all protected during this pandemic and in the future, we have updated our protocols. When we see you at your next appointment, things will be a little different.
  • We will ask some pre-screening questions when we schedule your appointment and you will be sent an electronic version of these screening questions via email which needs to be completed and sent back to the office prior to entering the office.
  • Patients are asked to call us upon arrival to the office and/or wait in your car or outside the office and wait for a call back to let you know when you can enter the office.
  • Anyone entering the office should be wearing a mask or face covering. The face covering is to be worn at all times when you are in the office.
  • Upon entry into the office the patient will undergo COVID screening which includes: being asked COVID screening questions, given hand sanitizer, have their temperature taken prior to being taken into the clinic. If any of the results do not pass, the appointment will be rescheduled.
  • Appointments will be spaced out to allow for physical distancing between patients. That might mean a little less flexibility for scheduling your appointments, this should also reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time.
  • You may also be surprised that we’re wearing more protective gear – such as masks, face shields, gowns – than we normally do during your previous visits. Our waiting room will look different too as we no longer offer magazines or children’s toys since those items are difficult to fully disinfect. We have surgical clean air purification units in all operatories and waiting room. Operatory doors are sealed, and plexiglass shields have been placed at the reception desk.
Rest assured all these procedures are designed to create the safest environment for you, other patients and our team.
We look forward to seeing you again. If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know. To make an appointment, call our office at 416-534-4951 or email us at brilldental@rogers.com
Dr. David Brill and the Brill Dental team would like to thank you for your patience and loyalty throughout this ordeal. We value your trust and look forward to welcoming you back!

Sincerely,
Brill Dental Team
